Bharat DC-001 was specified alongside Bharat AC-001 for India's early public charging network. It delivers low-voltage DC power of up to about 15 kW and uses a connector based on China's GB/T standard.
It was designed for early electric cars with low-voltage battery packs, often used in government and commercial fleets. Today's electric cars use high-voltage battery packs and CCS2, so Bharat DC-001 chargers are largely a legacy technology.
